On July 29, 2025, IDFC FIRST Bank launched its first co-branded credit card with IndiGo Airlines — the IndiGo Dual Credit Card. The name "Dual" comes from a unique feature: you receive two cards under one credit card account — one on the RuPay network and the other on Mastercard. The Mastercard version ensures global acceptance, while the RuPay card is especially useful for UPI-based transactions.

This card is primarily targeted at frequent domestic flyers, offering enhanced travel benefits and rewards. IndiGo, being India’s largest airline by passenger volume, already had co-branded cards with HDFC Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank. However, those were tied to IndiGo’s previous 6E Rewards loyalty program.

With IndiGo now shifting to its new loyalty program, ‘IndiGo Bluechip’, the airline is revamping its credit card lineup — reintroducing the 6E Rewards series and launching fresh collaborations like this one with IDFC FIRST Bank.
